ABOUT STEPHANIE

Stephanie Wu, L.Ac. is a licensed acupuncturist. She grew up in both Taiwan and the United States and was exposed to acupuncture at a young age. She grew up playing multiple sports as well as martial arts and has always been fascinated by the way the human body moves and works.

After earning her BS and BA at Rice University in biology and humanities, she considered attending medical school to further her understanding of the human body. Her plans took a detour when she witnessed how effective acupuncture was for treating sports injuries, chronic pain, and other chronic ailments. This fascination led her to Chinese medicine and acupuncture where she learned of its effectiveness in treating a wide array of problems by addressing the root cause of ailment.

Stephanie has advanced training in dry needling, sports medicine, women’s health, and stress management. She believes in the importance of treating the person, not just the symptoms. She's always looking for ways to improve her skillset to better serve her clients.

When not practicing Chinese medicine, Stephanie can be found golfing or playing pick-up basketball at different courts around the Bay area. She enjoys meeting new people and helping them work through their health setbacks so that they can live their best lives.
